Color-Ad, Inc. recently helped Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE: NSC) celebrate their 175th anniversary through the fabrication and detailing of beautiful exhibits housed in the brand new 1,600-square-foot museum designed and built by the History Factory, of Chantilly, VA.
The impressive museum highlights many contributions including artifacts such as early rail clothing, tools, locomotive parts, signage, photographs and advertisements. These enlightening items and information were contributed by employees past and present, customers and suppliers, and also by noteworthy historical associations and museums.
Some of the main areas of the exhibit concentrate on its effect on American culture, and the diversity of the people who built it. The interpretive and immersive exhibits take you from the beginning of railroad history to present day while explaining its role in modern-day logistics.
Color-Ad fabricated custom artifact mounts & casings, beautifully executed high resolution digital graphic panels and storyboards to allow the museum to illustrate the contributions of the Norfolk Southern Corporation growth in the local area as well as the nation. It will prove to be an important resource for educators and students, as well as an interesting attraction for visitors.
